Mukajanga presents EJAT award to best cartoonist 
The winner of the Best Cartoonist category in the Excellence in Journalism Award (EJAT) 2011, Nathan Mpangala of
Majira was on Tuesday March 10, 2012, presented with his trophy, certificate and prize by the Executive Secretary of the Media Council of Tanzania, Kajubi Mukajanga.
At a brief ceremony held at the MCT offices, Mukajanga congratulated Mpangala and encouraged him to continue to participate in EJAT competitions.
Mpangala snatched the award with his cartoon depicting attempts by Members of Parliament to raise their allowance in the midst of sufferings of the ordinary people.
He was not present during the EJAT Gala Night held on March 30, this year at the Diamond Jubuliee in Dar es Salaam where winners of different categories were awarded.
President Kikwete was the chief guest at the event which is held once every year.
