Kairuki Hospital VS Mtanzania newspaper
Kairuki Hospital complained against Mtanzania newspaper due to the story which they published on August 28, 2017 under the heading, “Hospitali Hurbet Kairuki matatani” as the management of that hospital said that the news is untrue thus demanded for the retraction and apology. The Council passed across the whole case and assured itself that the newspaper has done what is within profession due to the fact that they had just published about the progress of the case and not otherwise.

Mediation on 2015

Friedrich Ebert Stiftung VS Guardian
Friedrich registered complaints against The Guardian due to publishing articles on November 20, 2015 and November 23, 2015 whereby the writers of The Guardian misquoted FES Resident Director Paasch. The Council received complains and later on The Guardian agreed to apologize and rewrote a story.

Prof. Silas Lwakabamba VS Mtanzania newspaper
Prof Silas complained Mtanzania for publishing a story on February 16, 2014 with a headline, “kagame aifanyia ukachero Tanzania” whereby Prof Silas is the Ministry of Infrastructure from Kigali-Rwanda. Prof Silas demanded the newspaper to rewrite the story and to clarify his personality clearly. The case was well mediated and solved out thus the story was well rewrote
